Coach Jeff has helped hundreds of kids
throughout the country learn the fundamentals of basketball in a way that the players
understand. He has the unique ability to quickly assess those fundamentals that
a player needs to improve on and then explain not only what is wrong but why it
is wrong. “Coaches are always telling players how they need to improve, but they
rarely give them correct principles as well as reasons why they need to improve.
If a player doesn’t understand the why, then they will continue with their bad habits.
It is my belief that when players understand what they are doing wrong and why it
is incorrect, they will then start to implement the correct principles that they
are taught. They will then also be able to feel when they are shooting correctly
or incorrectly. This self-analysis is the way that a player can continue improving
on their own when I am not around.
— Coach Jeff Eakins
Coach Jeff has helped my son go from sitting
the bench his Freshman year to playing the entire game on the JV team as a sophomore!
His personal instruction not only helped his game physically, but he built my son’s
confidence on the court as well as in the classroom!
— David Timmons, Nampa, ID
I was a good player in High School, but
I really needed to improve my shot as well as other parts of my game when I got
to college. As someone who has been there before, Coach Jeff helped me to understand
what it would take to be a good player in college as well as know what level of
play would be expected. He helped me tremendously.
— Aaron Snooks, TVCC
Thanks to Coach Jeff, I received the instruction
I needed to not only improve my shot, but also my abilities in the key and finishing
strong. I was first team All State and got recruited by local colleges!
— Tanner Owens, Hagerman H.S.
My coaches were always telling me that
I needed to work on my shot, but they never knew how to help me improve it! Within
five minutes, Coach Jeff analyzed what I was doing wrong, but also explained it
to me in a way that made sense! By the end of our first hour, I could already tell
what my bad habits were and knew how to fix my shot! He is a blessing to the game!
"Many parents are of the belief that kids shouldn't start weight training until they are in high school. Those kids who are looking to be great athletes will be far behind if they wait that long! Certainly there are exercises that the kids should not be doing until they are older, but there is specific core training that they should be doing while their bodies are developing. The problem is that they don't have a facility, equipment, or a personal trainer to do the training. IBA does,Coach George.
Coach George Probeyahn has been a staple in youth athletics here in Maryland for many years. Coach George specializes in weight training as well as speed and agility training for athletes in 4th grade up through the college ranks. Having been a personal strength trainer to athletes of all ages for a number of years, Coach George has the ability to develop the young athlete physically to maximize peak performance. Coach George has been very successful in helping young athletes get ahead of the competition.
"I have sent my players to Coach George and I have personally seen his development program improve my players. I will continue to encourage my players to develop with IBA in order to improve my players as individuals and also our high school program as a whole!" Coach Cooper, Urbana High School
IBA has its own weight training facility in which the athletes are able to train on equipment found in local training facilities but are not accessible to the younger athletes. IBA's Power, Speed and Agility training will feature the Bigger Faster Stronger training program which has been helping athletes succeed for over 30 years. The BFS program is a total conditioning program for all athletes regardless of sport, age, or program. It is designed to increase all aspects of athletic performance. All athletes, prior to participating in the BFS set/rep system, will need to graduate from the BFS readiness program. This focuses on perfecting technique and meeting the minimum requirements in all three core lifts:1)parallel squat 2)bench press and 3)power clean.
The Bigger Faster Stronger program has been used with great success in over 10,000 high schools nationwide, including many USA Today top ten teams. With a proven track record of success for over 30years, the BFS program is the perfect training program for any young athlete, male or female.
Whatever sport your child plays, and whatever age they are, they will become a better athlete and be miles ahead of the competition by training in this program. They will receive individual training from Coach George and they will have their own personal progress file kept in order to monitor their strength and speed improvements!
This program is a minimum of 2 times per week and a recommended 3 times each week at only $20 per session! (If you are a current registered IBA Basketball Player you will receive a $5 discount per session at registration) When you pay for the first 10 sessions, you will get the last 2 sessions free. That's up to 12 sessions a month of personal training! Sessions will be kept to 12 athletes per training session in order to maximize individual attention by the IBA coaches.
